It was occasionally handled and carefully stored in its case. Since it was not used for playing, the pickguard and pickup protective seals are still in place, and it appears to be in clean condition, mostly as it was when purchased. I am not an expert on musical instruments, but I believe there are no problems with the sound through an amplifier, the neck, the tuners, or the frets. The strings were replaced about a year ago.
