Thank you very much for viewing my listing from among the many items for sale. This is a listing for a developing tank 11x14 (large quarter size) LPL developing drum, also capable of film development? While 8x10 developing tanks are relatively common, 11x14 ones are considered very rare. Previously, I used this for monochrome printing because my room was too small to arrange trays, but I've decided to rearrange my room and make space for trays, so I no longer need this and am listing it. I think the biggest advantage is that it can print 11x14 (large quarter size), which is considered the most affordable size among commercially available photographic papers. For monochrome printing, I found it very useful because you don't need to be too strict with the temperature control of the developer, except in midsummer and midwinter. Also, although I haven't actually tried it, I believe it can also be used for film development. I don't think many people develop 11x14 inch film, but I'll add this information. In terms of size, it can develop 8x10 film, but regarding film development, I haven't actually done it, so please consider it as a bonus if it works. For this listing, I have actually put water in the tank and rotated it with the motor base to confirm that there are no leaks. However, this tank has a pouring spout, so if the tank becomes unbalanced due to a malfunction of the motor base, the solution may spill out. I recommend carefully monitoring the process when developing. Please note that I have not tested whether it leaks light by putting unexposed photographic paper in it. Please understand. As mentioned earlier, the tank lid is securely closed, and there are no leaks. Regarding the appearance, it seems to have few scratches or marks considering it has been used. Also, the inside of the tank seems to be in a clean condition. The lid on the top of the tank for pouring liquid is a little stiff, but I didn't find it too difficult to open and close. I have been doing monochrome printing with only this drum and motor base. I believe I have described the necessary information, but please feel free to ask if you have any questions. Thank you.
