This is a decorative kabuto (helmet) for the Tango no Sekku (Boys' Day) festival. It was purchased around 1970, so there is some rust on the underside of the fukikaeshi (turnbacks), and the underside of the kuwagata (ornamental horns) has lost its luster, although it is not rusty. The color of the maedate (front ornament) also appears slightly cloudy. Other than those, there are almost no noticeable stains or scratches. The size is approximately 40cm in height, including the kuwagata, and approximately 39cm in width, including the fukikaeshi.
