SEIKO ELNIX 0703-8030 This is an electromagnetic balance wheel watch. I purchased this watch, which was supposedly overhauled, but I am selling it due to various circumstances. This drive system was manufactured only for a few years before and after the birth of quartz watches. The biggest feature is that it is powered by a battery, so there is no need to wind it, but it sweeps the second hand like a mechanical watch. Electromagnetic balance wheel watches often have issues such as dead batteries or faulty circuit boards, and many are non-functional, but this watch is running well. I checked the daily rate when listing it, and it is approximately +45-60 seconds per day when laid flat. The calendar quickset function also works without any problems. There are some scratches on the dial and case, but I think the condition is good considering it's a watch from about 50 years ago. Please assume it needs an overhaul.
