This is a highly talked-about swirly bokeh lens, popular on Instagram and other platforms. It's a deadstock, unused, new model, a successor to the 44-2. It functions perfectly. While the 44-2 late model is rare, this is the even rarer "Zebra" version, with a silver and black design, of which very few were produced. My heart raced when I opened the cardboard box it arrived in from overseas, as this was my first time acquiring one. I had seen images of it before, but I never thought I'd be able to get a deadstock one. The lens construction is the same as the 44-2, so you can achieve the exact same swirly bokeh effect. Aperture Operation: The aperture ring is the second ring from the front and operates smoothly. Includes a case, UV protection filter, metal adapter hood, adapter, and caps. All are new. I obtained this from a Russian vendor who was closing their business, stating it was unused. However, there's no way to definitively confirm it's unused, but based on its appearance: The lens exterior has some minor scratches from the manufacturing process, but it clearly has a different luster than other used lenses. Based on my 12 years of experience, this lens shows no signs of use, and I'm confident it's unused. I believe it's extremely rare. It comes with an adapter, so you can start shooting with it immediately upon arrival. Please choose one of the following adapters: Sony E, Canon EF, Nikon F (Nikon F adapter is for short distances only), Micro Four Thirds, Fuji X. If you are unsure about the adapter type, please comment with your camera model (the product image shows the Sony E adapter). No mold, haze, or balsam separation. This is a perfectly functioning, unused lens. The lens surfaces are very clean. Test shots were clear and without any issues. Highly recommended. Functions perfectly. The aperture blades are clean, with no oil stains. The aperture and focus rings operate smoothly. The exterior is sharp in the center, rivaling the original Biotar, and most famously known for its swirly bokeh at wide apertures. It's a legendary lens that allows you to enjoy the characteristics of old lenses, including vignetting. It's an f/2.0 58mm lens.
