The hardness is selected and used from materials with a hardness of 13-20 (slightly hard to slightly soft) on a Reeds'n Stuff hardness tester. To minimize changes after finishing, it takes about two months from assembly to finishing. During finishing, the reed is carved so that the "p" (piano) articulation responds without problems, the balance is good from low to high notes, and a wide range from "p" to "f" (forte) can be played.
