This is a Kongo-zue (walking stick) used during the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage. I completed the pilgrimage 15 years ago, walking and camping for 45 days. It was an incredibly hot summer, and it was quite tough. For those who want to participate in the pilgrimage physically but cannot, how about displaying this for good luck? In fact, I haven't been sick a single day in these 15 years, and I am very grateful for the Shikoku pilgrimage.
