"Camera Condition" The camera was manufactured in 1985. While there are scratches from age and use, and paint peeling on the grip, the camera is in relatively good condition. After disassembly and cleaning, each part was inspected, and grease and oil were applied. The basic structure has not been significantly altered. Mirror corrosion, a common issue, remains, but the viewfinder is clear. The eye-level finder is detachable. The view can be kept clean by slightly lifting the focusing screen and using a blower. The BEROFLEX 35mm f/2.8 lens has some dust and mold marks from age and use, but this does not affect normal shooting. However, it is a temperamental lens that produces a retro color tone and significant flare and ghosting in backlit situations. "Important Notes" * Some Pentacon lenses have a high aperture pin pressure and may not be compatible with this camera. In such cases, switch to manual aperture control. * Even with M42 mount lenses, those with protrusions for open-aperture metering may become stuck and require disassembly.
