This is a flat tea bowl made by ceramic artist Tozo Terao of Kyo-yaki Kiyomizu-yaki. Tozo Terao Born in Kyoto in 1955 Graduated from the Ceramic Craftsman Training School in 1975 Trained at the Zuisen Yoshida Kiln Held the "Suisui-ten" ceramic exhibition from 1976 to 1983 Trained at the Mizusho Ono Kiln in 1979 Received the Governor's Award at the Long-Term Technician Course Japanese Painting Exhibition Received the Excellent Work Award from the Japan Nanga-in in 1981 Opened the Tozo Kiln in Higashiyama, Kyoto in 1983 Condition: There is a nyu (crack), but it is in good condition without any chips or cracks.
