Faint greens and pale pinks are woven vertically in geometric patterns, giving it a grayish-purple appearance from a distance. The pattern is not very distinct, giving this Oshima Tsumugi a soft impression. The sleeves and hem still have their basting stitches, suggesting it has been worn very few times.
