These are zori sandals from Kyoto Ohara Shoten. *Please note that these are new, unused items, but they are display items. There are some minor hand marks on the surface. They are not very noticeable, but please consider this before purchasing. These zori sandals feature black thongs and red front "tsubo" (the part of the thong that goes between the toes). The glossy zori surface is made with enamel processing, and the gently sloped through-sole finish, which has three layers of the same height, reduces the load on the toes. The heels have non-slip grips, so you can use them on wet surfaces or places that are slippery. (Please be especially careful on rainy days, as you may slip while walking.) They can be worn with everything from casual wear like komon (small patterned kimono) to formal wear like tsukesage (semi-formal kimono).
