The shogi board has a unique "heso" (navel) processing characteristic of boards with legs. • This is a stately, single-board shogi board approximately 14.4cm (approx. 4.8 sun) thick, with beautiful wood grain. This is an authentic shogi board with legs, recommended for playing shogi or for collection. Wood grain: Itame (plain-sawn) • Wood cutting: Kiura (back of the wood) It features the powerful wood grain unique to natural wood. The kiura side is used as the playing surface, making it an authentic construction. The weight was measured with a bathroom scale and was approximately 11.9kg. This is a used item, so there are some scratches and minor imperfections from use. There is a slight wobble in the board, and one side sinks about 2mm when pressed by hand. Also, one of the komadai has a crack in the support column, and there is some looseness in the connection with the base, causing it to wobble slightly when pressed by hand.
