This is a donut cushion needed after childbirth, etc. It's firmer and higher than a typical cushion, allowing you to completely elevate the affected area. It's very comfortable and was a great help during my two pregnancies. Purchased 4 and a half years ago, used for about a month each time during two pregnancies. The cover is washable, but the urethane inside has discolored (see photo 4). The comfort is not affected. The cover is made of velvet fabric and feels very nice.
