This is a tiger figurine created by the second generation Asakura Isokichi, a recipient of the Order of Culture and a member of the Japan Art Academy. The charming expression is adorable. Biography: Born in Terai-machi, Nomi-gun, Ishikawa Prefecture (present-day Nomi City). Studied under the first generation Tokuda Yasokichi, Kitade Tojiro, and others. Received the Japan Art Academy Award in 1981, became a member of the Japan Art Academy in 1984, a Person of Cultural Merit in 1992, and in 1996, received the Order of Culture, the first time for a Kutani ware artist. The "Asakura Isokichi Museum" opened in his hometown of Terai-machi in 1993, designed by Yoshiro Ikehara. Died on April 9, 1998. The size can be confirmed in the images taken with a ruler.
