This is a Wedgwood Queensware (hard earthenware) 17cm plate ② from the Mayfield series, manufactured between 1962 and 1969. Mayfield comes in two edge colors: ruby (red) and gray (blue-gray), and this is the popular ruby (red) version. This series was designed by Robert Minkin, who also designed Wild Strawberry and Ice Rose. Although this item is approximately 50 years old, it is glossy and generally in good condition. Compared to a new-like plate ①, there are shallow scratches that reflect light near the center (photo 4). I have been handling Mayfield for about 4 years, and this is not a bad condition for a plate. Mayfield has a simple and warm design as hard earthenware, with a country style. As shown in photo 5, there are also paint omissions in the uneven areas of the fabric under the glaze. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for perfect condition and finish, or if you have modern quality standards. We ask for your consideration if you understand the characteristics of vintage items, such as manufacturing-related black spots on the fabric, pinholes, printing misalignments, surface irregularities, ink smudges, air bubbles, and kiln marks. This item is discontinued and only exists as is, so we ask for your understanding that discounts are not available except for combined shipping. We will refrain from responding to discount offers. Thank you for your understanding. Diameter: 17.1cm Height: 1.8cm England Vintage Europe Antique Wedgwood Mayfield
