This is a handmade cover for a surveying notebook, made with natural (camel) colored Italian leather called "Alaska" and finished with hand stitching. The stitching color is beige. The surface has wax, giving it a whitish appearance, but the original leather color is natural (camel). (See the 12th image.) As you use it, the wax will penetrate and wear off, gradually revealing the leather's original color. *This listing is for the cover and band only. Surveying notebook and pen are not included. *While you can use it for items other than surveying notebooks if the size fits, the shallow insertion part of the cover may not be ideal for soft-covered notebooks. *** Size *** This size accommodates one Kokuyo Surveying Notebook (95×165×6mm). *** Leather *** This is "Alaska Shoulder" (La Perla Azzurra), an Italian leather tanned using vegetable tannins and finished with dyes. It is made using the "bagutta" method, which thoroughly incorporates oil. The white wax on the surface will blend in with use, changing to a rich, deep color.
