When my child was a newborn, they weren't drinking milk well and were constipated (once every 3-4 days). We tried various Japanese milk formulas, but it didn't improve... We were struggling. Then, we consulted with a senior couple, and they said, "Try this!" and gave us a can. We tried it, and the milk intake improved remarkably, and the constipation (once a day) was completely resolved. Since my child was small, I wanted to increase their food intake when they were a newborn, so switching to this improved their milk intake, and we saw visible improvements every time we had a weight check. Also, constipation made them cranky, and their stomach would get bloated, making it difficult for them to drink milk, but that was also resolved. It might just have been a good fit for my child, but this milk really helped us. (It's a bit expensive...) We switched to a more affordable Japanese milk formula after about six months, but until then, it really helped us.
