This is a cornet made by F. X. Hller & Company, Graslitz, Czechoslovakia. It's from around 1920 and is overall slimmer and much lighter compared to modern cornets. The tone has a uniquely warm sound. I owned it as part of my collection, but I had it repaired so it could be played, including dent removal and adjustment of the tuning slides, and I actually used it in solo concerts. The design is also very unusual, and I believe a playable instrument from this era is quite rare. I have too many cornets now, so I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it. The original mouthpiece is included.
