I believe that a first edition with the obi and jump-around insert still remaining is rare. I feel that it is in relatively good condition for a first edition, but please consider that it is a used book, so there may be some age-related deterioration and signs of use. The obi also seems to be in good condition for its age. The jagged appearance at the top and bottom edges of the back of the obi is just the printing on the surface showing through; the edges are actually straight. Please judge the general condition from the product images. To prevent trouble, please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection or are overly concerned about the condition.
