This is wood shavings. They will be shipped in a 100-size cardboard box, compressed quite tightly. I think it's probably hinoki cypress. Other types of wood might be mixed in, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive. How about using it for starting barbecues or wood-burning stoves, or as bedding for pets? I've removed any visible debris, but there may be some that I missed, so please be understanding. Thank you.
