This is a set of four round small plates made of Shigaraki-yaki pottery. I purchased these locally a while ago and used them a few times before storing them carefully in a cupboard. I remember buying them for a considerable price at the time. I'm selling them now because I don't have many opportunities to use them. They are made of clay mixed with the characteristic Shigaraki-yaki colors of hi-iro (reddish-brown) and vidro (glass-like glaze), as well as feldspar, which is typical of the original Shigaraki-yaki style.
