We will be selling various handmade stuffed animal creations by the late Sachiko Tanaka, a Kyoto artist. All items are commissioned by the artist's family. These are the highly-detailed "Small Vegetable Garden" series, and you'll be amazed by their delicacy and precision when you hold them. These works were exhibited in solo exhibitions for a while and were then carefully preserved by her family. These items are from 30 years ago, so they are not brand new as you would buy in a store. However, they have a warm, comforting feel, and you'll find them to be wonderful, soulful works that you can display and enjoy without ever getting tired of them. The artist selected the fabric one by one, dyed it by hand, drew intricate lines, and created these pieces after a painstaking process. Being from Kyoto, the creations include vegetables unique to Kyoto. They may be a bit pricey, but I am confident that they are high-quality items that you won't regret purchasing. The items will be shipped individually, without baskets. Realistic, life-sized items include daikon radish with leaves, bamboo shoots, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, Kyoto carrots, pumpkin, burdock root, and more. Please use an 8cm lighter or a measuring tape as a size reference. Shipping will be from Tokyo.
