The box and instruction manual (English and Chinese only) have been discarded and are not included. The other included items, such as the cable, screwdriver, and thermal pad (unused), are all present. Since there is no box, it will be shipped in a box from a different manufacturer. It was used for about a month and there are no noticeable scratches or stains, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. I purchased two of these, and both of them disconnected from my Mac Studio (M4 MAX) during long copy operations. (From a minimum of about 30 minutes to a maximum of about 3 hours). Therefore, it is highly likely to disconnect during continuous transfers, such as when using it as a download folder from the internet or when copying from a slow HDD. Conversely, for short transfers, there were no problems with the connection or speed, and even a 2TB transfer was completed in less than 10 minutes if the source drive was a fast drive. (Using a SanDisk SN7100) Also, it did not disconnect even for long periods when there was no transfer (just connected). The manufacturer is aware of the disconnection issue during long transfers and may take time to address it (probably waiting for a firmware update). I no longer need it because I was able to purchase an OWC external case on sale. I am selling another of the same product because I purchased two. The high ratings on Amazon are likely from users who only use it for short transfers. In fact, I also didn't experience any disconnections after I finished migrating data from my old environment, as I didn't need to perform long continuous transfers. The above issue occurs even with new products, so if you are considering purchasing a new one and do not plan to perform long continuous transfers, please consider this product. I have no information on the operation on Windows or Linux. I will accept returns for any operational defects other than the above issue.
