● This is Dan Fogelberg's sixth album, released in 1979. It's a best-of compilation featuring "LONGER," his signature hit that reached #2 on the Billboard charts and topped the Adult Contemporary chart. ● When I'm tired of listening to upbeat rock, I crave Dan Fogelberg's gentle ballads. They've been a staple in my life for half a century. I recently learned from a magazine article that he passed away in 2007 at the age of 56. ● I wanted to listen to the masterpiece "Longer" every day, so I bought it new about 50 years ago. However, I was afraid to use it, so I recorded it on a cassette tape and listened to that instead, carefully preserving the record as a collector's item. Now, as I've entered my later years, I'm reluctantly sorting through these treasured records. ● I kept them away from sunlight and humidity, so the jacket and lyric sheet are in excellent condition. Unfortunately, I've lost the obi (sleeve band). ● The record itself is, of course, free of scratches and dirt. Looking at the photos, you can see that the surface has hardly been played. However, since it's been stored by an amateur for half a century, I was a little worried about selling it as is, so I played it for the first time in decades. There were, of course, no noise or skips. ● While I can't guarantee compatibility with every player due to differences in stylus pressure and cartridge settings, I believe it should be fine given the excellent condition of the record. ● The outer plastic sleeve was wrinkled, so I replaced it with a new one (photos 14 and 15). ● To offer it at a lower price, I'm using standard mail, which has weight restrictions. Please understand that the packaging will be simple. ● This is a used record that has been stored by an amateur for many years. Please forgive any oversights or missed details, as I am getting older. Also, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor imperfections. ● There are no smokers or pets, so there are no related odors.
