My daughter wore them for one season when she was 2 years old. The heel part opens wide, so they were easy to put on, and even at 2 years old, she could put them on herself! There is some fading from aging, and there are scratches on the toes from tripping, but they weren't worn many times, so the fur inside is relatively clean, and the wear on the soles is within acceptable limits.
