This is a flat cup from the early to mid-Joseon Dynasty period. You almost never see this kind of reddish ware. I've seen it in dishes, but this is the first time I've seen one under 10cm. I believe it was originally a small dish or a funerary object, but it has enough depth to be used as a cup. There is a repair on the rim. Please refer to the last image. The outside is mostly kasete (weathered), but the glaze is still alive on the inside. I think this is something you'll only encounter a handful of times in your life. Diameter: Approximately 7.6cm Height: Approximately 2.3-2.5cm There is a kiln scar inside the foot, but it will leak if you leave alcohol in it for about 12 hours. It's not a problem if you don't leave it in. Sizes are approximate. The actual item may differ slightly in color from the images. It is an old item, so there are age-related scratches and stains.
