The surface features the "hakeme (brushstroke) pattern" characteristic of Ootani-yaki and the texture of the clay, allowing you to fully enjoy the appeal of the unglazed, kiln-fired finish. They are small and fit comfortably in the hand, and are shaped to enhance the aroma of Japanese sake.
