This is sumi ink for use with a brush, and there are 10 pieces in total. These were kept by my grandfather, and according to a collector, they are all products from the Republican era (early to mid-20th century). Due to aging and storage conditions, some items show damage such as cracks and chips (please check the images for the extent of the damage to the ink blocks).
