When using fabric for Ikkanbari, this bonding paper is heat-fused with an iron. This backing paper, which incorporates moisturizing ingredients into Japanese paper, has minimal stretching and is highly resistant to humidity. It's specifically designed for heat pressing. The backed fabric can be glued, and the glue will not seep through to the fabric's surface, resulting in a clean finish. Place the adhesive side of the bonding paper on the back of the fabric and slowly and completely adhere it with a hot iron. This is ideal for Ikkanbari and is a very convenient backing paper. Unlike fusible interfacing for clothing, this is a special adhesive paper that allows for gluing.
