This is a used, completed 1/16 scale radio-controlled model from Tamiya. [Condition] Acquired the completed kit over 40 years ago. Intended to create an original tank, but abandoned the project. Kept the original body and stored it until recently. Repaired for sale by using remaining parts and some self-made parts to fix damaged areas. [Product Condition] The aluminum chassis and screw-on parts have been disassembled and cleaned. The gearbox was also disassembled for removal of modified parts and cleaning (see photo 10). There is a possibility that the gear positions have changed, increasing resistance. There are scratches inside the chassis and on the gearbox from using a cutter knife to remove the adhesive G17 after removing the modified parts. The clutch lever is connected with wire and epoxy adhesive due to repair or modification (see photo 9). The clutch is damaged. Moving the lever in either direction causes both sides to stop. The right rearview mirror attachment uses a self-made part from a runner (see photo 15), so it is black. Unpainted. Plastic parts are missing or have excess adhesive. Rubber wheels have cracks (see photo 11). During gearbox disassembly, there were deteriorated paper-like parts (see photo 12, right side). Both were replaced with metal M4 washers (see photo 12, left side). The hatch spring on the top of the turret and the mudguard screws have rust (see photos 14 and 20). The underside of the aluminum chassis was polished with 2000 and 6000 grit sandpaper to remove fingerprints, making them less noticeable, but there are overall sandpaper scratches. One of the searchlight doors does not open (see photo 7). The motor has been tested and confirmed to work (see photo 19). The motor dresser and battery shown in the photos are not included. The rear barrel fixing part (indicated by the ruler) is damaged and has been repaired with a self-made part (see photo 18). Instruction manual included (see photos 8 and 13), no box. [Important Notes] The screws for attaching the bottom of the rear panel are replacements (see the instruction manual in photo 13). They are slightly longer, so two washers were used to adjust the length protruding inside. There is a plastic gear directly above, and if the screws protrude too much, they will damage the gear. If disassembled, be sure to use washers during reassembly. (In the past, the screws seem to have contacted the gear, causing scratches.) [Other] It is difficult to run due to the clutch problem. Since there are few missing parts on the exterior, it is suitable for display. Please refrain from price negotiations.
