Tanba small pot. Likely from the late Edo to Meiji periods. It's quite thinly made. I suspect it wasn't an "uruka" pot, but was made for something else. Made using the "ita-okoshi rokuro" technique (slab-built on a potter's wheel). With some exceptions, this is the method used for all Tanba ware. It's old, so it has age-related scratches and stains. There's a small chip on the rim, and a crack as shown in the images. It can be used for drinking. Diameter: Approximately 6.7cm Height: Approximately 6cm Sizes are approximate.
