Final price reduction for auction. This is a stripped-down sanshin (Okinawan three-stringed instrument) made of striped ebony, just the neck. The shape is Yonaha. Purchased in 2019 from a sanshin wholesaler and used in live performances. There is no warping currently, but because it was used without lacquer, there is a slight stain near the milk bag (where the strings attach). If you were to apply black lacquer, it probably wouldn't be noticeable. Also, there is a small chip on the ten (headstock), but it's not immediately apparent. Recommended for those who want to apply lacquer themselves or for good practice. Please understand that this is a used item. Thank you for looking.
