This is a genuine silk kimono. I think I've worn it 2-3 times. It looks like threads are coming out from the surface of the fabric, but it's part of the woven pattern and is present throughout. This is one of many that my grandmother had tailored due to her relationship with a kimono shop. She told me to take them all, but the size is so different that I would have to have it altered to wear it, and alterations are quite expensive, so I've decided to sell it. It was stored in a paulownia chest. I aired it out occasionally, so there are no stains, but there are fold wrinkles. Please check the photos and understand.
