This product complies with the Food Sanitation Act. It does not contain any harmful substances. It is made of a material that will not crack even when placed over a direct flame. (Cannot be used for dry heating.) It has been fired at 1200 degrees Celsius with a moss green glaze. 《Uses》 ● Boiling health teas (turmeric, Houttuynia cordata, Japanese gentian) ● Boiling barley tea ● Boiling water 《Handling Precautions》 ● Be careful of burns as it will be placed over a direct flame. ● As it is made of ceramic, it may break if dropped or struck. ● Due to its absorbency, water may seep out slightly when first used, but this will stop as the pores become clogged with use. 《Points to Note》 ※ The glaze is hand-applied, so there may be slight variations in color density.
