These replacement caps have an outer diameter of 13mm. The tip of the C3 body has a 13.3mm diameter with a 0.15mm step. This is barely noticeable. The tip of the C4 body has a 13.9mm diameter with a 0.45mm step. The step is visible upon closer inspection. These caps are unplated. They will not experience the flaking of plating that occurs with age. Made in Japan from 316 stainless steel. This steel contains a higher nickel content than standard 304 stainless steel, making it even more resistant to rust. The increased nickel content gives it a brighter appearance than 304 stainless steel due to light reflection. Furthermore, it is a strong and durable stainless steel with added molybdenum. The reflection can be seen from up to 3 meters away under sunlight or artificial lighting. The line of light rotates as the viewing angle changes.
