This is a Ralph Lauren Navajo pattern blanket purchased about 20 years ago at Hankyu Department Store. The Ralph Lauren Navajo pattern is still popular today, as shown in photos 15-16, but the materials, sizes, and designs are different and very expensive. I bought two of the same blanket, and I still use one myself. This one was used once on top of a futon when guests visited, and it has shrunk slightly after being home-cleaned before storage. The colors on the front and back are also lovely, and I have used it on a sofa as shown in photo 14. It's made of a sturdy material, so it would be warm to use on top of a rug, and I think it will develop character over time. If you look closely, you may see what appears to be dust in photos 12-13, but this is woven into the original fabric.
