The box inscription reads "Owned by Bun'emon Yasuda" and "Soup Bowls for Twenty People," clearly indicating the owner and intended use at the time, making this a highly commemorative item. The bowls are red lacquered and decorated with traditional gold-painted cranes and pine trees. Each bowl is carefully wrapped in washi paper with characters from the period. There are no noticeable scratches, scuffs, or lacquer peeling, and the set has a good overall luster. There are no cracks or chips. Please understand that minor scratches, slight discoloration, and slight warping of the bowls are characteristic of antique items.
