It has been stored unused, but the black base shows fine scratches when exposed to light. I don't think it will be a problem for normal use. This doll stand has a stand that fits securely into the black base, so you can display your doll in a stable state without wobbling. I think it can be used for Barbies as well as Integrity Toys dolls.
