The surface ripstop nylon has a textured tumbler finish and is a high-density, water-repellent material with a good feel. Made entirely of thin and lightweight materials, it can be folded and used as a portable sub-pack, knapsack, for speed hiking, or for walks. The large external mesh pocket uses a cord slider for hanging, allowing for adjustment of the opening. (By replacing the cord with a longer one, you can customize it to hold down the roll-top.) The shoulder harness has thin 2mm thick cushioning material and a soft polyester material on the back. An internal sleeve for a back pad is included. A chest strap can also be attached later.
