This coat has a smooth, soft fur. My everyday clothes have become completely casual, so I haven't had a chance to wear this, and it's been stored in my closet. I basically only wore a few coats in rotation when commuting, so I don't think there are any noticeable stains or scratches, but please understand that this is a used item before purchasing. It has fur on the collar and front, and it's warmer than it looks. Also, it seemed like I looked slimmer when wearing this! Instant purchase OK.
