I purchased this at the BOX & NEEDLE store in Kyoto about 5 or 6 years ago. It can hold accessories as well as small stationery items. All of the small sorting boxes inside can be removed. It's a beautiful box with a gorgeous pattern, made with German paper. There isn't any significant staining, but when you open the lid, you can see a faint small stain just above the printed text on the left, and a black stain on the corner of the largest sorting box. Please see the last two photos for confirmation. As it is made of paper, I will not attempt to rub or remove the stains, and will sell it as is.
