This is a Silent Brass practice mute for tuba. I purchased it around 2019 and am selling it because I no longer use it. I used it about once a week on average between 2019 and 2022. There are some stains and scratches on the sponge, but I didn't feel any problems with the muting function when I was using it. Also, I don't have the instrument now, so I can't confirm its operation, but it was working fine when I last used it, and as you can see in the photos, I was able to turn it on.
