My father bought these and kept them for about 50 years. Volumes 14 and later are first editions. They are very old, so volumes 1-5 and volume 12 have pages that have come loose. Synopsis: Hiroshi, a middle school boy, accidentally crushes a frog with his chest after falling. However, the frog, Pyonkichi, who is stuck to his shirt, survives with incredible tenacity and begins to speak human language, living together with Hiroshi.
