Fender Japan
(JP¥55,000)
Fender Japan Telecaster neck only from the 1983 JV serial period. This is a TL52-65. As it's from the late JV serial period, it has the "Japan" marking on the neck end. The "Japan" marking on the headstock was generally used up to around the early 50000 serial number range. The neck is mostly straight, with some room for tightening, but please refrain from bidding if you are overly concerned. The frets are 60-70% remaining, so there's a decent amount left. There are some paint chips, a burn mark on the headstock near the 6th string, and some dents, but it's in pretty good condition for something over 40 years old. The nut is original, but I don't remember if it's still usable. This was originally on the light blue Telecaster body that was listed, so there's some light blue paint on the screw holes. I've been keeping this in stock, intending to assemble it someday, so I don't think it's anything strange. It's a neck alone, which is hard to find. Thank you for looking.
