I will ship it in a custom-made lantern case. I designed and created the lantern case to perfectly fit the Coleman NorthStar tube mantle. It's designed to prevent shaking during transport, so there's no worry of the glass breaking. The top drawer contains a fuel removal pump, a fuel funnel, spare mantles, and the instruction manual (photo 4). The lantern itself has no issues and can be used immediately by simply adding white gasoline. The battery (one AAA) for the automatic ignition will be removed before shipping. A protective sheet is wrapped around the glass (photo 6). The front has a sliding lid that opens from the top (photos 7 and 8). However, please consider that the lantern case is handmade, so it may have slight imperfections, such as a slightly misaligned lid, and is not comparable to commercially available products.
