The freshly applied lacquer is a deep amber color, but over time, it changes to a lighter amber color, allowing you to enjoy the aging process that highlights the wood grain. ◯ It is excellent as a practical item and is suitable for use as an ohitsu or other storage container. ◯ Due to its large size, there are cracks in the wood, gaps between the wood pieces, scratches, peeling lacquer, and looseness. It is also recommended as interior decor for those who like old items. ◯ It can hold approximately 1.5 to 2 sho (a unit of volume, about 2 liters) of cooked rice.
