This is a more affordable version of the MAD CAT guitar known to be used by Prince, made by Bill's Brothers. H.S. Anderson and Bill Lawrence's MAD CAT guitars have seen their prices skyrocket, making them difficult to acquire, but Bill's Brothers models still seem within reach! The electrical components, including the pots, switch, and jack, have been replaced and are in working order! There is a slight gap in the jack plate installation, but it is securely fixed. The metal parts show significant wear, and the tuning pegs, in particular, have some dirt. We have cleaned it to preserve its well-used look. There are scratches throughout, but no critical damage. The frets show signs of wear, especially on the lower frets, with approximately half remaining in some areas. The truss rod is functional, and the neck has a slight high-end rise, but is mostly in good condition. Set up at 1.5-2.0mm, there is no noticeable fret buzz. The pickup bobbins have some cracks, but there are no functional issues. A rather rare MAD CAT! Please consider it!
