New, unused Mino ware, Sometsuke octagonal small dishes, set of 5. The design is drawn with cobalt-containing Gosu on a white bisque-fired vessel, and then a transparent glaze is applied and fully fired. Blue patterns and designs are painted on a white background. The colors are not vivid, but rather gentle. They are also quite thick and sturdy. Sometsuke ware is a bit expensive, but it is elegant and has a nice atmosphere. 9 x 2.5 cm
