The color is dark brown, and it is 100% synthetic hair. It comes with 3 stoppers for secure attachment. *Some of the paint on the stoppers is chipped. There is no particular problem with use, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. It has been maintained with wig shampoo & conditioner. It is a type that is attached to the crown and the part of the head.
