This is a summer *tsukesage* (semi-formal kimono) with embroidery in white, silver, and light blue threads on a white *ro* (silk gauze) background. The *ro* is *komaro* (a type of silk gauze) from Gozen, the best *ro* producing region in Japan.
A lining has been added from the waist down.
As it is *ro*, please wear it in July and August.
Due to global warming, it is getting hotter every year, so many people are wearing *ro* from June, and some wear it in September during the transition to *hitoe* (unlined kimono).
*This is for the kimono only; the obi, obi締め (sash tie), and obiage (sash panel) are not included.*
